General

Rules . . . can’t live with them, can’t live without them. Check out each category for useful info about Camp rules.

Below are some general rules that apply to all residents and guests.

Camp Cleghorn is a family camp. Through the years, we have composed a set of rules, which, if followed, will make your stay at Camp Cleghorn more enjoyable for everyone.

A. Camp Cleghorn was founded and known as a Temperance Camp. That heritage is to be respected. We feel that drinking alcoholic beverages should be strictly private and unobtrusive in Camp Cleghorn.

B. There shall be no discharging of carrying of uncased firearms, including BB and pellet guns; use of fireworks; or shooting of bows/arrows, slingshots, or other projectile launching devices within the Camp.

C. Quiet Hours; We request reasonable quiet between the hours of 11:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M. with no swimming after 11:00 P.M.

D. Please observe the 15 M.P.H. speed limit, stop signs and the “one way” traffic rule. This will help make our Camp a safe place for everyone, particularly the children.

E. Our waterfront has a remarkable safety record. We believe this is because each individual swimmer finds was to have fun without unnecessary roughness. There is no life guard on duty at any time. We ask that you please observe the following rules which apply to the swimming area;
1. No fishing.
2. No pets.
3. No shampooing.
4. No shoving or pushing.
5. No docking of boats.
7. No water skiing.

F. Camp recreational facilities (swimming area, tennis courts, children’s play area, basketball court, and ball diamond) are for the use of cottage owners and trailer court lessees and guests of both. Cottage owners and mobile home court residents are responsible for the conduct and adherence to rules by their families and guests,

G. All pets must be on leash. Pet owners are expected to “clean up” after their pets.
